Carter had his first soccer practice on August 28th. He is playing though the Y and luckily we have Katie coaching his team! He has been very excited about this and we've practiced with him at home some too. He loves all sports so I am glad he finally gets to experience being part of a team.
There are six kiddos on his team. He had two practices and his first game was last Thursday Sept 6th when we played Ambers team! So fun. First game was interesting- the kids kept kicking it in the wrong goals or getting upset because other kids were kicking the ball too. Some kids were done after playing once. Carter hung in there most of the game but he wasn't really that assertive with the ball. Good effort for the first time I thought and most importantly he had FUN!
Afterwards we went to Napoles with the whole fam who came out o support Car.
